Tala Khalaf, Co-Founder / CEO
Dr. Khalaf, is a practicing physical therapist and a clinical specialist at the Stanford Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic treating a variety of complex orthopedic problems and chronic musculoskeletal pain. She is also a faculty member of the Stanford Physical Therapy Residency Program. She earned her Doctorate degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Having worked at various healthcare systems for 25 years, Dr. Khalaf is very familiar with how difficult it is to access high quality physical therapy services. Scaling evidence based PT services with treating “root cause” of dysfunction has been her lifelong passion.
Her clinical care philosophy has always been centered around the “WHOLE person.”
“ I strive to always look for the root cause(s) of dis-ease, pain, or dysfunction through evidence-based practices.”
A main pillar of Dr. Khalaf’s care philosophy is empowering her patients and arming them with the necessary knowledge to take charge of their own healing process. “I believe in full partnership with my patients to help them realize their own healing journey, I emphasize mindfulness and awareness of self defeating lifestyle habits in order to trigger a cascade of healing and therefore enable mother nature to do the rest of the work.”
